Te Aho Jordan is a visual storyteller, who utilises the transformative power of photography to reclaim and revive indigenous narratives.
Te Aho's ancestral lineage connects them to Ngāti Porou. They are a descendant of Te Whānau a Tūwhakairiora from Wharekāhika and a mokopuna of Materoa (Te Aitanga ā Mate) from Hiruhārama ki Ruatōria.
Through her Mother and Grandfather, Te Aho has ties to Poutasi, Lalomalava and Salelavalu.
Te Aho weaves together their love for Māori, Pasifika, Queer, Takatāpui, and Youth communities, honouring diverse stories and memories through their photography.
